Gioia is a Swiss-Peruvian Graphic Designer and Illustrator working in the film and branding Industry. She spent her childhood growing up between Switzerland, Mexico, and the United States. The constant change of environment as well as having an artist as a Mother, inspired her to express herself artistically ever since she can remember.

In 2006 Gioia moved to Richmond, Virginia to attend Virginia Commonwealth University, where she then went on to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts.

Gioia has had the amazing opportunity to work on projects such as the Academy Award winning film "Lincoln" directed by Steven Spielberg, television show "Turn: Washington's Spies debuted by AMC, Mercy Street debuted by PBS, and many more.
