Wealth Matters,
“How to Invest”
Pocket Guide
Info
Julius Baer aimed to create an educational investment guide that portfolio managers could use during client consultations. The “How to Invest” Pocket Guide was designed as a compact, easy-to-carry publication featuring a clear layout, intuitive charts, and vivid imagery to make complex investment topics accessible and engaging for readers.
Role & Scope
Led the project as Art Director and Lead Designer, establishing the foundational creative concept and physical execution of the publication. Developed the guidebook by adhering strictly to Julius Baer’s established corporate identity and design (CI/CD) standards, successfully expanding the system into new design applications tailored to this specific format, scale, and corporate purpose. Conceived and directed the entire tactile experience, defining the specific pocket-sized dimensions, unique folding mechanisms, cover finishes, and custom paper stocks, including the integration of transparent title slides. Personally designed and executed all custom charts and infographics throughout the guide, translating complex investment data into clear, intuitive visual assets optimized for a compact scale. Curated and art directed the visual narrative by researching and selecting all imagery used throughout the book, ensuring every asset aligned with the bank’s premium global aesthetic.
